About susan and her alternative medicine background
Susan Kline Strahosky ~ Energy Medicine Practitioner/Counselor
As a child under 10, I don't remember the age exactly, but I do remember wondering why I was here. I was the youngest of four children. I had three older brothers that really didn't want much to do with their little sister. My Father was an alcoholic and I believe my Mother was also. She just wasn't as obvious about it as he was. I spent a lot of time alone. With my life experience I was naturally an observer and good listener. I was curious about people. I also had a curiosity and interest in alternative healing. My Mother was an influence in this area because of her own interests. She would visit psychics and had books on Pyramid Power, psychic development, UFO's and the power of positive thinking. When I was 12 she enrolled herself, my youngest brother and myself in what was then called Silva Mind Control. It was later renamed The Silva Method. I was about using the power of the mind to create your life. I never asked her what inspired her to include me and my brother who would have been 16 at the time.
It's interesting that I also grew up across the street from a large cemetery. I spend a lot of time there playing in the trees, riding my bike and playing in the fountain. I got chased out of the fountain many times, LOL.
As a teenager I wanted to become a psychologist. I even took Latin as my language elective because I thought it might be useful. Somewhere between middle school and high school I lost that ambition. I really forgot about it. Years later after while my marriage was coming to an end I started to reconnect with that part of me by practicing yoga and meditation. I made new friends and my marriage ended. My career as a real estate appraiser was strained a year after my divorce. My parents invited me to rent my home and move in with them until things settled down.
It felt like divine intervention. A week after we moved into my parents home my appraisal work dried up. I was safe. My children were safe. I had time to follow as my life unfolded, divinely guided. I learned Reiki. Started offering my services. Then through a friend I found a Brennan Healing Science practitioner. I wasn't looking, but my friend mentioned her a few times. Then I got sick with cold like symptoms that just seemed to be hanging on. I decided to make an appointment for myself. I fell in love with Brennan Healing Science. It is a four year program in energy healing. I had many amazing experiences.
Through out the years I kept being curious and learned different things that I found interesting. A friend from the Brennan School introduced me to Dolores Cannon's work in Quantum Healing Hypnosis Therapy. I took a look on YouTube but it didn't draw me in. After my friend had a QHHT session and I saw her shift it got my attention again. I had my own session. I saw amazing potential in this modality and decided to jump in and learn.
Before graduating from the Brennan school the name of my business came to me, Inner Wisdom Healing Arts. It was a reminder for myself and others that our healing lies within. The healing modalities I use are based in that wisdom. I am so grateful to be able to offer this work to others.

Brennan Healing Science is a 4 year program in energy healing and alternative medicine. Graduated June 2001. Currently in the 2 year Advanced Studies program.
These techniques and skills cannot be learned from reading Dr. Brennan's books alone. The program of study is vigorous and requires dedication and a significant investment on many levels from the practitioner.
